We would just like to thank you very much indeed for your information on crossing the Limpopo which was very helpful indeed. We found the crossing easily and went across on the 14th of October - very little water in the river. From there we simply took the most used track and after about 12kms came to a fork and we chose the left option. Then a further 9 kms we crossed the Nuanetsi River (just sand). From there the road is fairly straight all the way to Chicualacuala. Just over 3 hours and approx 62kms. Left Punda Milia at 6.00am and got into Chipinda Pools Gonerezhou at about 4.00pm. The border crossing was quick and efficient with somewhat benign and friendly officials. Cost to get into Moz was R58 and into Zim $55 (Two in a Prado). We travelled through Zim visiting various areas and National parks exiting through Plumtree. On the whole the people in Zim were very friendly and welcoming except for the police. The country is riddled with Police road blocks - many wave you through but some can be thoroughly unpleasant and two in particular gave us a very hard time and we will hessitiate to go back. We have travelled extensiviely in Botswana, Zambia and twice to Moz and have never encountered such obnoscious policemen as we did in Zimbabwe.
Once again many thanks!
