My adult daughter and I are planning a trip to Moz, Dec 10-24, and hoping to have an itinerary something like this:
Arrive Durban or Jo'burg on 9-Dec
Ilha de Moc...
Ibo / dhow cruise
...north to Tanzania...
Mikindani (snorkeling at Mnazi?)
Arrive DAR>JRO 24-Dec
Any way this is possible in the given timeframe? I'm not averse to spending money on flying when/where that makes sense.
If it's just not feasible/reasonable, what would you suggest?
Thanks in advance.

Note that this is the high season for Moz so make sure you get all bookings done now.
14 days very short so I would skip Maputo and perhaps also Ilha so either fly via Dar es Salaam to Pemba or via Joburg to Pemba. For more details on flights see
Look up flights Pemba - nampula - Pemba or get a bus Pemba - Ilha - Pemba.
Otherwise 2 nights in Pemba, then flight to Ibo (2 nights) and dhow to Pangane (2 nights), perhaps include Guludo.
After this it will be very difficult to travel north to Tanz unless you fly Pemba - Dar and arrange the Tanz visits from there (difficult access to Mikindani and Kilwa in the rains.
On second thoughts why not go Maputo - Nampula by plane, 2 nights Ilha then bus up to Pemba and use the balance of your time Pemba and islands and skip southern tanz.
